Swenson Spreader was founded as Cherry Valley Pulverizer Company by Eskil W. Swenson, in 1937.
The first spreader was used primarily for agricultural applications on his Cherry Valley,
Illinois family farm. The name changed to Swenson Spreader in 1939 when the company moved to
its present location in Lindenwood, Illinois.
At Swenson Spreader, engineers work with state-of-the-art
equipment using the latest hardware and software for design
applications. Our creative staff has an integral history of various
spreader specifications and designs and provide our customers
over 75 years experience in producing the industry’s finest
products. Swenson engineers have created over 20 patented items
for the spreader industry. We continually improve our processes to
